There is no need to book the kitchen if you are only preparing teas & coffees however if it has been booked for exclusive use by another hirer in a different room this facility may not be available. Wedding Packages are available from £1,200 (please see Weddings tab for further details)

Rooms are let by the hour except for Weddings and Wedding Receptions. Booked time must include sufficient time to set up and clear away after the booking.

Charlton Down Village Hall does not charge VAT.

Discounts

Residents of Charlton Down, Charminster and Forston booking for a Private Function (except weddings and wedding receptions) may attract a 50% discount on their room hire charges.

Deposits

For large events a £200 damage deposit will be applied.  The deposit will be returned to the client once the premises have been inspected post-hire.  This includes checking the hired rooms have been left clean and tidy and all rubbish has been removed.

Public Liability Insurance

The Village Hall has a Public Liability Insurance which covers clients. All clients should check that they are sufficiently covered by this. For more information email bookings@charltondownvillagehall.info
